Longan

Native to Southeast Asia and prized for its juicy, translucent flesh, Longan (also known as “Dragon’s Eye”) is a tropical fruit known for its delicate sweetness and refreshing flavor and is sold by the pound. Wrapped in a thin, tan shell with a glossy black seed inside, longan offers a delightful burst of natural energy and is a favorite in many Asian cuisines.

• Taste & Texture: Lightly sweet with hints of honey and floral notes. Similar to lychee, but more subtle and musky. Juicy and tender, smooth and jelly-like flesh. 
• Health Benefits: Rich in vitamin C, aids in collagen production for healthy skin, protects cells from oxidative damage, contains antioxidants, improves sleep quality, supports digestive health, boosts energy and reduces fatigue, promotes brain health, beneficial for anemia (due to iron content), and contributes to bone health.

• Storing Tips: Store fresh in a breathable bag in the fridge for up to 1 week, If dried, keep in an airtight container in a cool, dry place for several months. Avoid moisture exposure to prevent spoilage.
